Belknap was born in Damariscotta Maine. The daughter is David Belknap and Louise Belknap. She was a student at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle Maine. While at Middlebury College in Vermont she began to develop an interest in performing. When she graduated with her Master's from the School of Fine Arts, she studied at the American Conservatory Theater. Belknap has numerous television credits, including the series' regular characters in Medical Investigation, Third Watch, and The Handler. She also was a regular on Deadline and Law & Order Law & Special Victims Unit in addition to part-time guest stars. Belknap appeared in the movie Alchemy as well as made her feature film debut with the indie film The Reality Trap. Belknap made her debut in the long-running crime show CSI: NY (as Detective Lindsay Monroe) as part of the second season, episode Zoo York. Anna Ragsdale Camp was an American musician and actor.
