Liza Snyder

Snyder was a native of Northampton, Massachusetts. The father of her is acting professor of theater and of music in Smith College. Johnny Green was a five-time Academy Award winning composer and Betty Furness, an actress and journalist for the consumer, are parents of the family. Snyder studied acting in the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, New York City. Her coach was Sanford Meisner. The career of Snyder began with episodes of TV dramas, including The Trials of Rosie O'Neill, and Murder, She Wrote. Snyder landed her first significant character, Molly Whelan, in 1993's ABC crime show Sirens. After the show's cancellation it was her turn to star in two television films along with guest starring in Chicago Hope and Pacific Blue. From 1998 through 2000, she was regular participant in the NBC sitcom Jesse with Christina Applegate. The actress made her big screen debut in a secondary role in Pay It Forward directed by Mimi Leder. Following that, Snyder began starring as Christine Hughes on the CBS sitcom Yes, Dear. The show ended in the year 2006. After Yes, Dear, Snyder went on hiatus for a period of five years. Then, in 2011, Snyder returned to screen in her guest role as a transplant patient in the show House. She reprised the role of Yes, Dear role in an episode in 2013 on Raising Hope. Liza Liza Liza
